My Wish List - 43 (OTP North)
Date: 2008-11-13, 11:31PM EST
Dear Santa,
This time last year, I wished for peace and complete separation from the x. I have given, worked, healed,
figured out, and finally reached a level of stability for my world and my child's. Thanks Santa for giving me the power
and ability to see last year's wish to fruition. You may not have thrown in any fringe benefits, but you did grant me
this one!!!! I really could not have asked for more.
This year I would like you to help me get what I want most
now. I would like to find a good man. One who will love me for who I am and I for him as well, intellectually, spiritually
and sexually. One who has a moral code and expectations of decency and respect. One who wants more than just the casual, separated,
non-fulfilling relationship that is just OK or a time filler. One who is not too young and not too old to not relate to me.
One who is positive and looking forward to the life that he/we can create. Next year at this time, if you fulfill this wish,
I really don't think I will have the need to be asking for anything else... and maybe then you can more help the others
who need it too.
Thanks in advance Santa.
My Take
First of all, she is 43 and writing
letter to Santa. This is a red flag because even if she doesn't believe in Santa, she is trying to attract a man by talking
to a fairy tale figure.
She then equates Santa with GOD which is either an indication of her disrespect for The Lord or another
endorsement of a mythical cat burglar.
She throws in the " love me for who I am" crap which means she has no plans on changing
her odd behavior even when it is pointed out to her.
"intellectually, spiritually and sexually"
,"moral code and expectations of decency and respect"
1 out of 6 isn't bad.
"One who is not too young and not too old to not relate to me." is this a double negative
squared?
"Next
year at this time, if you fulfill this wish, I really don't think I will have the need to be asking for anything else...
and maybe then you can more help the others who need it too. " Here she questions Santas?GODS ability to multitask and
in doing so suggests that her needs are more pressing than say a cancer stricken child.
